Besides being used as a flavoring in many dishes or drunk as juice, it's rarely anyone make a snack of fresh tomatoes. In fact, recent studies show that frequent eating tomatoes can help us lose weight. How come?

The tomatoes are rich in lycopene content, a compound which scientists believe could help provide a sense of satiety by lowering the appetite hormone.
